Development is not for a single person or a small community, it is for everyone's benefit. In order to achieve inclusive growth society needs to have greater acceptance and participation. There needs to greater efforts to overcome all barriers of growth and increase participation of people who are disabled. There are more than a billion people who are living with disabilities in the world, i.e. approximately 15% of the world population. We cannot ignore them from the development agenda.
People with disabilities that include children face social, physical, economic constraints that become a barrier for them to complete participation as part of the society. They need support of basic resources like education, healthcare, employment etc. Despite government efforts disability remains as an ignored component in the development agenda. Fiinovation with its development sector projects wishes to make disability a mainstream developmental agenda.

... development agenda. Fiinovation believes in the UN theme of “the way forward: a disability inclusive development agenda towards 2015 and beyond” and plans to implement all the projects keeping the theme in mind.
The focus should remain on the fact on how to further increase their participation beyond 2015 development agenda. The rights of the persons with disabilities should not be ignored by governments and society as a whole. The policy makers should design disability-sensitive policies that includes private-public partnership model to make them agents of change in the communities the live in. Fiinovation wants to make sure that persons with disabilities portray themselves as strong person and motivate other community members to overcome their difficulties.
Fiinovation believes that through innovative strategies, public discussions, change in societal mindsets and economic security can bring about change in the lives of millions who are reeling under poverty. People need to be educated about them and we need to support them to have greater access to resources.
