Revolutions Come In Waves And Binaries

After having started their business venture in post-war consumed Japan on the 7th of May, 1946, the Sony corporation was led by Masaru Ibuka and Akio Morita, the co-founders of the firm. Expanding immensely, Sony started trying their hand in the computer business game exclusively in Japan at the beginning of the 1980s but by the near end of the decade they withdrew. They then reinitiated the project in the year of 1996 by launching the VAIO brand line’s PCV series.
Coined VAIO, which stands for Video Audio Integrated Operations which was later in 2008 changed to Video Audio Intelligent Organizer on the occasion of Sony’s 10th anniversary, the distinct logo embodies the essence of analog and digital, with the swerve of the symbol representing analog waves and the 1 and 0 representing the binaries of digital technology. They named it so so that not only the processing excellence was highlighted but also the recreational possibilities, thereby fusing science with art.
Maintaining their expertise on the notebook front, Sony devised their initial products with a devotion given to the visual prowess, their personal ...
... computers’ displays came with an XBRITE technology which was the first of its kind to be experienced by the masses which enhanced the sharpness, visibility and brightness of the screen’s display due to its combination of a smooth screen that had an anti-reflection (AR) coating and high-efficiency lens sheet.
In the year of 2005, Sony came out with the TX series which was the first of its kind to have a backlit screen, a screen that had a greater graphical portrayal of visuals, lesser extent of power consumption and an aspect ratio of 16:9, making it a very unique notebook in the computer market off of which many other computer brands would base their models.
They would go on to come with the SZ series that had an inbuilt Graphics Memory Controller Hub graphics card and and external NVIDIA graphics accelerator chipset, one could switch between the two to have, either, a consistent and enduring time of functionality or an elaborately spectacular gaming experience, though one had to manually select when they wanted which mode prior to the start-up of the motherboard. The GMCH was made to operate when there was a need for minimal energy consumption whereas the NVIDIA chipset would function to deliver quality to an advanced graphics game that required refined detail.
An update of the SZ series came in the form of the Z series where one wouldn’t have to switch and restart the computer in order to switch between graphic modes on Windows, many other computer manufacturers such as Apple, Asus and Alien followed up on this innovation as well and incorporated it in their technological mechanisms.
The summation of technological breakthroughs eventually led them to arrive at the uncovery of the AR series which incorporated the first Blu-ray disc burner. Constructed to exemplify the ideal high-definition experience in all of its glory, a 1080p capable WUXGA (1920 × 1200 pixels) screen and a HDMI output capacity proved to be an electronic epiphany in the computer business which they aggressively promoted in 2007. The illuminated logo of the VAIO was implemented with this line.
To further their scientific growth Sony Laptops released the TZ series of VAIO notebooks. The enhancements to this series’ arsenal included a 64GB Solid State Drive (SDD) which hastened the application launch process and fortified the durability of the computer, and an additional 250 GB could be implemented in place of the CD/DVD drive to broaden the storage capacity. Security measures such as biometric fingerprint recognition and trusted platform module were implemented in this series of notebooks. A highly-miniaturized motion sensor to enable video calls was implemented, as well.
Hence, it can be clearly inferred the technological metamorphosis that has taken place in this burgeoning venture of Sony that has led to make its brand line, the VAIO series, a pioneer, a role-model, and frankly, a boss in the personal portable computer trade.
