Free diving, as the name suggests is any water activity that requires the practice of breath hold diving. Some free diving activities include free dive photography, spear fishing, snorkelling and apnea competitions. Apnea competition is considered to be an extreme sport where divers attempt to reach great depths on a single breath and without using any breathing devices.
