Some of these things can be a minor or maybe major, inconvenience, but they all end up working in the end. Living in a new city, with a new job, and new schools might be hard a first, but after some time passes, and you get into a routine, your life will be back to normal. Your children will, no doubt experience exactly the same thing as they make new friends, they won't miss their old friends as much. It helps a great deal, when you move into a neighborhood, where the folks are friendly, but that isn't always the case.

If you have done the research just before you moved, and bought a house to live in, you should have known what the neighborhood would be like. You need to connect with some of the neighbors prior to buying a house, no matter where it is.
