Olympic Medal Winner Sushil Kumar
Sushil Kumar is an Indian Wrestler who won the bronze medal at Beijing Olympics in 2008, Silver medal in 2012 London Olympics in 66kg Men's freestyle Wrestling category and also Gold medal in FILA World Wrestling Championship tournament. In 1998, he won the gold in World Cadet Games. Followed by this game he won the gold in Asian Junior Wrestling Championship event in 2010. His full name is Sushil Kumar Tehlan Solanki. He was placed in 4th ranking in 2003 World Championship. In 2004 Athens Olympics, in 60kg category was placed at 14th. In the year 2009, he received the proud and most prestigious Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award, Arjuna Award in 2006 and Padma Shri in 2011. He rewarded much amount of cash prizes for his wonderful medal getting in WWC, Beijing and London Olympics and also many promotions in his sportsman carrier when he won the medal in 2008 Beijing event. His father and cousin Sandeep inspired him to achieve the medals. Totally he bagged 2 silver, 3 bronze and 7 gold medals .

... Belarus. Kumar won the bronze medal match within 70 minutes time span. In 2010 FILA Wrestling Championship Tournament held in Moscow he got an honor to became the 1st Indian to win the Gold in FILA 2010 WWC. He beat Alan of Russia with 3-1 in the final match. In Commonwealth Games 2010, in 66kg freestyle category he beat South African Heinrich with 7-0 points. In the semi finals, again he defeated Famara of Gambia with 3-0 in the record nine sec's. In London 2012 Olympics, losing the final match to Japan Tatsuhiro and he bagged silver medal. Sushil Kumar profile has good carrier achievement for his tremendous effort.
WFI [Wrestling Federation of India] announced and organizing the tournament 2013 Senior Asian Free Style, Greco Roman Style and Female Wrestling Championship event starts from 18th April to 22nd April 2013. Indian Squad selected for the 2013 freestyle and Greco Roman are Rajender and Gaurav Sharma for 55 category, Anil Kumar & Ravinder for 60, for 66 Sunil and Suresh, 74 kg Rajbir and Ravinder Khatri, 84 kg Manoj and Harpreet and Navina & Dharmender for 120 kg. For freestyle Sushil Kumar and Amit selected for the 66kg category, Yogeshwar Dutt (60kg) and many more players. More than 20 countries are participating in this Asian Championship event.
