Indian Squash Championship Hero Saurav
Saurav Ghosal is an India's 19th ranked professional squash player. His highest rank in 2012 was 22nd. He won the squash title in the British Junior Open in 2004. Saurav Ghosal won the bronze medal at the Asian Games in Doha and he got the No: 1 world rank in Junior squash level. He was one of the proud player who receive the 'Arjuna Award' from the government of India in 2007. He bagged the Junior National Championship award for three times continuously. He won the German Open and Dutch Open title in 2002. He adjudged Hero Indian sports Academy best sportsman award in other sports category in 2005. He was the winner of Senior National Men's squash Championships and 6th PSA (Professional Squash Association) ICL Chennai Open in the year 2008. He also won the PSA Otters Open in 2006.
He is one of the great achievements were done in 2010 was a Bronze medal for team and individual category at Asian Games in 2010 in Guangzhou. Currently Nicol David is placed in the world's number one ranking in female Squash player. In December 2012, Ghosal played against Tamimi ranked 209th in the world at Qatar PSA Championship in Doha. ...

In 60th National championship 2012, Ghosal bagged eighth national title against Harinder Pal Sandhu and Joshna Chinappa won her 11th national title against Anaka. In the quarter finlas Saurav beat Gaurav 11-6, 11-6 and 11-7 in 28 minutes. He scored 11-9, 11-4 and 11-7 in the semi finals. In final Men's National Championship Saurav beat Harinder with 11-5, 11-4 and 11-3. Women's National Cahmapionship finals Joshna beat Anaka with 11-7, 11-4 and 11-8 points. His average points are 275 in the PSA rankings of March 2013. When he got a British Junior Open Squash title Saurav Ghosal profile was known by everyone and India proud to say he is the first Indian player who got the top 20th ranking in PSA.
Saurav Ghosal beats Robbie Temple of England player in 85 minutes at the EI Gouna International Open in Egypt. He won the cash prizes USD 120,000. The Indian Squash team has many talented and younger players such as Joshna chinnapa (27th rank), Goshal (19th), Dipika(10th), Siddharth (39), Harinder Pal (73), Mahesh (104) and many more. According to WSF (World Squash Federation of June 2009, there were 49,908 squad courts in the world, in 188 countries and territories. Jahangir Khan player of Pakistan is considered as the greatest player in the history of games.
