Choosing the right wedding hairstyle is just as important as choosing the right dress for the wedding. It is important that the style you choose complement the dress you will be wearing on your wedding. Here are some options for you to complement different wedding dresses:
For spaghetti strap wedding dress: Go for a romantic style with soft waves or a low ponytail.
For strapless wedding dress: Go for an updo, or keep it all down.
For a halter or V- neck wedding dress: Go for an updo to to show off your sexy V- neck.
For a cap sleeve dress: Go for a simple modern ponytail or a side bun.
Now, know about the different wedding hairstyles for different hair types:
Curly: Instead of ditching the curls, play with what nature has given you. Apply styling products with humidity- fighting ingredients to keep frizz at bay.

Straight: Keep it all down to impress people around. Apply products to add the extra shine and gloss.

Thick hair: Make a twisted half updo as braided and twisted styles will look better than simply keeping it down.

Fine hair: in this case, it is always better ...
... to keep the hairstyle simple. Go for something unique. Add twists, baby braids, loops and other accessories. Wash your hair a day before your wedding day as if you wash it in the day of your wedding, it will be too soft to hold pins.

Oily: If it is grease prone, you might want to think twice before wearing it down. Keep your roots looking clean and dry all night. You can add a pinch of baby powder to keep it oil- free. But sure to pat it till there’s no white powder to be seen.

Short hair: Try a gelled side part or gel it all back for a modern and elegant look. You can slick it back and add a faux ponytail.

Long hair: With long hair, you have more options. If you want to wear it up, try out an elegant bun, high ponytail or chignon to show off your neck and the shoulder designs of your gown. You can also make a low side ponytail and allow curls to cascade down your shoulders.

Hats and caps are rarely worn by brides but if you insist on wearing one, wear your hair down. It can be straight or curled, through the entire length or just at the ends. No use wearing a good updo as the cap/ hat will hide it.
