Water Damage
Did you know there are three types of water damage? The types of water damage are put into three categories. The first category is the safest of all three.
Category one water damage is referred to as clean water. This means humans will not be harmed by the category one water damage.
Category two water damage is referred to as grey water. This means there are either harmful chemicals, biological and/or physical contaminated agents in the water. This water will make a human ill or at the very least very uncomfortable if brought into their system.
Category three is the worst of all and is known as black water. This water will make a person very ill as it contains dirty agents, bacteria, and last of all fungi. This water should be kept away from all humans and pets for safety reasons including possible death.
If you have had a flood or some type of water damage it is imperative that you get it taken care of promptly. I would call someone to clean up the disaster within twenty four hours. If you wait too long the clean water and grey water can easily turn into the dangerous black water after forty-eight ...
... hours or more.
You want to keep your family and pets safe from harm. Once you hire someone to clean up the water damage you can easily go back to your life without worrying about the disaster that has occurred.
If you've suffered water damage contact a reputable company to come out and take care of the mess for you. This is the most viable way to make sure all molds and odors are taken out of your house to keep your environment safe for living day to day.
A company will remove the water and then vacuum up the mess. And lastly most companies will put a chemical down to prevent mold from spreading. This will also kill the current mold that exists. Odors will be removed from the water damaged area as well.
Once your living space is clear of all water damage you are able to live a more relaxed lifestyle such as before the water damage occurred.
