The cigarette is a term that is commonly used to refer to a tobacco cigarette. However, it can also apply to other devices containing other different herbs like cloves. There are some features that distinguish cigarettes from cigars such as the size and paper wrapping. Electronic cigarettes are steadily gaining popularity as they continue to be marketed and promoted. They are being marketed as a safe alternative to traditional tobacco smoking. Tobacco smoking has been in existence for a very long time.

Today a smoker has the choice between a traditional cigarette and an Electric Cigarette. According to a study that was presented in Vienna, there is an abrupt increase in airway resistance among electric cigarette smokers.
