Notre Dame Recruit Fabricates College Visit

I don’t get it. Notre Dame has not yet recovered from the Manti Te’o debacle and now

this???
We have another fake story being told, this time by a Notre Dame recruit: four star junior

Bethlehem George Walton Academy running back, Stanley Williams. Williams is committed to

Georgia, but is still visiting other schools. He was scheduled to meet with Notre Dame on

Saturday. And he was scheduled to meet with South Bend. That’s where the weirdness

started.
Williams never made it to South Bend. Ever.

But in an interview Williams claimed he had visited North Bend. (???) He said, “The visit

went great. It was great to experience something new and different, and we had a great time

at the game. I had been looking forward to it for a while, and it was great to just get out

there and see a new place. I plan on getting up there a couple more times in the future.”

(Huh?) Williams continued, “Before I took the visit I was very interested in them since

they were coming by my school and showing interest in me. After taking ...
... the visit there, they

are definitely high up there on my list and a factor in my recruitment. They’re definitely

an option for me to go to. I’m just looking forward to continuing building our

relationship.”
OK, maybe Williams dreamed he went to North Bend. Or maybe he’s a Manti Te’o wanna-be.
Either way, I think someone should check what’s in the water at Notre Dame. First they have

a fabricated girl friend. Now they have a fabricated college visit. Maybe they should

fabricate winning the Super Bowl.
