Elements of the Golf Swing

A golf swing contains many elements in order for it to be a great golf swing. These elements include your stance, grip, the way you shift your weight, and the way you swing the club. Considering these factors will help you develop the best golf swing you can have.

The way you grip the club is extremely important. Your need to think about the way your hands wrap around the club when you swing. You may have an easy golf swing after you realize the proper way to grip the club. There are many different ways you can interlace your fingers around the club. You may just need to roll your hands back so your hands are facing the target. Be sure you are not gripping the club too tight causing a left hook of the ball and gripping too weak causing the ball to go to the right.

The best golf swing has a proper stance. Your stance should have your feet shoulder width apart and comfortable. You might feel slightly uncomfortable even but it will help you shift your weight. Your posture should maintain upright throughout the entire swing.

The weight of your body is going to shift ...
... as you motion through your swing. You can learn a simple golf swing but you will never get it right if you are improperly shifting your weight. As you pivot your upper body through your swing and face the target of your shot, shifting your weight properly will result in a great golf swing. Shifting your weight improperly could cause you to slice the ball.

If you are looking for a better golf swing because you seem to slice the ball every time or you just cannot get enough distance on your shot, you might look at the way you swing the club. When you bring the clubface back be sure it is facing in the right direction and above your head. Your elbows should be aligned properly also. When you bring the club through on your downswing be sure this is where you give it your power. You will find you have an easier golf swing if you follow through properly.

There are many pro shops that offer someone to help with tips on how to develop a great golf swing. If you are looking for the best golf swing or a better golf swing because you just cannot hit the ball far enough you should look at these factors first. The most common elements in a golf swing that cause problems include the stance, grip, weight shift, and range of motion. The good news is that these are really simple to fix.
