Financial Freedom Is A Choice: Bu T How Badly Do You Want It?

As a team leader for a very large network marketing company I have learned a lot about human nature. I have witnessed individuals who joined my team and I thought that they might be the next "superstar" to come under me and then they turn out to be less than mediocre. They usually scream "I want to be financially free" but yet, they do nothing to move towards that direction.
In the time I've been an Internet Marketer I have realized that there are three distinct groups of people who come into the world of internet marketing:

1. Those who make things happen and just do it
2. Those who kick back and watch things happen for others and are waiting for that perfect opportunity to "hit the ground running" and
3. Those who are absolutely oblivious to what is happening and are the ones who generally sit around and do nothing.

Now the people that I coach and mentor are the ones who fall into the first category of people. Those who make things happen and just do it. Those are the ones who are usually fed up with being fed up. Tired of being tired and in no way am I trying to be disrespectful, ...
... but they are typically the ones who have reached the end of their rope and feel they have nothing to lose. So they tend to give it all they've got and just go for it.

You see people if you want true financial freedom you have to realize that financial freedom comes with a price. I fought blood, sweat and tears to get where I am today. I still stay up late at night creating training materials for my team members. American colonists fought for their independence which is why we celebrate the Fourth of July a reminder that we must fight to be free. African Americans during the sixties fought for their freedom often risking their lives to get it. Women fought for their rights during the Women's Sufferage movement often risking getting attacked and mauled by men who sought to keep them down.

But there is one thing that the American colonist, the African Americans of the 60's, and the women of the Women's Suffrage Movement all had in common. They fought to be free. Now, in internet network marketing we may not be fighters in the physical sense of the word but we have to fight none-the-less. We are fighting a war much different than our counterparts.
Let's look at the economy that has been affected by Bush's regime. It's unstable and if you study the system carefully you will see that it's going to get worse before it gets better. If you don't not fight hard to earn the cash you deserve you are going to sink like The Titanic.

We are in an unstable economy. Even many of the wealthy are finding themselves affected. People aren't willing to take risk. People aren't spending anymore. Banks and corporations are "folding" at an alarming rate and oil is still expensive.
Heck, we used to have time freedom but that is quickly fading away for many in this country. Even with all the technology available to us; microwaves, on-demand TV, instant emailing and faster internet connections you would think that our time would be freed up even more. But that is not the case. People are working harder and longer for the same or less pay. Now something is terribly wrong with this picture.

Now I wrote all of that to say to you fellow Internet Network Marketers. How badly do you want to be financially free? How burning is your desire? Are you giving your best support to your downline members to ensure that they too are on the path to financial freedom?
And the ultimate question is, are you working your butt of to achieve financial freedom or are you looking at this as some sort of hobby on the side? The truth of the matter is only you can answer these questions. If you aren't doing whatever it takes to achieve financial independence then you need to do some serious soul searching and determine why you are in this business. Your answers to these questions will determine how quickly you reach financial freedom.
