Coach Watches

Coach watches are an integral part of the company's merchandise. Coach is a leading provider of fine quality leather products, including purses and handbags, umbrellas, belts, luggage, briefcases and much more. The company's watch line is one that upholds the finest standards and provides consumers with a product they are highly anticipating.
Coach watches and other products began from a very simple, family owned business located in a small loft in Manhattan, New York. The business was founded in 1941 and at the time, the designer on board wash American Bonnie Cashin. In 1960, the designer would begin what would be one of the most significant steps in her career. At that time, Miles and Lillian Cahn asked her to become a designer for a line of retail handbags. The company currently was running a wholesale manufacturing business in handbags but wanted to move to a retail marketplace. It took two additional years before Cashin, a very popular designer at the time, would make the move.
Coach watches would not be added to the ...
... collection for some time. Nevertheless, with Cashin on board, new twists and turns were underway. The designer made a name for herself and the Coach line by creating handbags that looked more like a modern sculpture rather than handbags. She also dyed them fantastic colors such as candy colors like yellow and blue, orange and pink. Perhaps the true finishing touches is what has made Coach so popular. With Dorothy Liebes as a textile designer, the handbags were lined with linens for that finished look.
In the next years, further changes were made to the Coach line including the Cashin Carry designs, which were full of surprises. They were designed with a variety of styles and shapes in mind, with colors and textures of a variety of designs. Perhaps the most unique aspects of this and other similar lines were the larger openings for larger items to be placed into. These were even more unique because they offered exterior coin purses and pockets for all types of accessories. Of course, these styles have become very popular now even outside the Coach line.
In order to make the Coach design even more memorable, she added a silver toggle to the handbags. This small but significant element helped to further establish the brand.
Accessories have always been an intimate part of the Coach line. Coach watches, as well as pens, shoes and eyewear were later introduced to the line. Each piece is unique in their design, but all are fashion statements in their own right. Many offer a modern, sophisticated look that is considered the finest of style. Coach watches and other accessories have become a stable in many of the top designer's wardrobes.
Today, Coach watches may be purchased through various locations and online. The company is located in New York City but has made an international name for itself throughout the years. In 2007, the company earned some $2.61 billion US in revenue, much of which is attributed to the watch line.
