Holiday Season's And Weight Loss
Holiday Season's and Weight loss
So here it comes, the start of the holiday seasons, it is time again to resist the cravings and try not to put on to many pounds. So what is the plan, how are you going to do it? Well it is going to be tough; you are going to have to really commit yourself to wanting to be healthy. Here's the thing though, it is the holidays, so you need to enjoy yourself a little bit. What we are going to try to focus on is how not to gain weight during these holiday seasons.
The first thing you need to do, is start a workout plan, whether you go out for walks, jogs, or bicycling, you need to do something active, something that will get your heart rate up and going. You need to at least do 30 minutes of cardio three times a week; this is going to be crucial in your strategy for keeping off the pounds. Plus it would be good if you were to do some crunches and push ups. If you already have a workout plan stick to it, if you have a home workout DVD like ChaLean Extreme, then make sure you do not deviate from the plan.
Okay besides working out what else can you do? Well, you are going ...
... to have to control your cravings a little bit. I do not know about you, but I go to a lot of parties during the holiday seasons, Thanksgiving alone I have three huge parties that I am part of. I have a party with all my friends which there is tons of food, I have a party with all my roommates, which has tons of food, and then I have Thanksgiving dinner with my family, which has tons of food. It seems like there is no way to get around all the food that is going to be shoved in front of my face. But I will show you my plan on how I get around it all. I only eat till I am full, and then I only snack after that. A couple days after each holiday, I go on a two day fast. The two day fast is very important, because it cleanses my system and gets all the toxins out. Fasts are very important but you need to make sure that you do the fast right, I do a water fast, but I also add certain two day fast powders to the water that allows me to have all the nutrients I need. So make sure you workout, don not stuff yourself and cleanse your system with a fast.
