It is needless to state that schooling and education are indispensable parts of our life. Just a few months after the birth of the child, parents start worrying about which school their child would attend. They start dreaming of their child going to school, then going to university and then earning name , fame and success. It clearly shows that they believe that school and education are stepping stones to success. We have seen poor people turning into rich and successful people due to education. We have seen rich becoming richer due to education. Such is the importance of school and education.

We can also understand the importance of education by seeing the difference between an educated and an uneducated person. School is the first step to the ladder of success. It may also be called the foundation period. It is during this period that a child learns to become a social being. He learns manners, etiquettes, sensibilities and many other things. It is during this period that he gets basic knowledge about life and learns skills that help him live his life.

Spoon feeding is not education, it is creating an urge in children to learn, motivating them to carve a niche for themselves and encouraging them to find their ways to live. Education, apart from making you a successful person should also make you a good human being.

Each school should strive to impart education of the heart because education of the heart is the heart of education.
