Cycling refers to the use of bicycles as a means of recreation, sport or transport. A cyclist is someone who rides on a cycle for any reason. Cycling is both a cheap and healthy means of transport for both short and medium distances. Bicycles have the advantage of providing exercise to the cycler. Moreover, the bicycles use natural propelling energy and do not pollute the environment by either air or noise pollution. In both the short and long run, bicycles are less costly to maintain than most other means of transport.
