Writing Santa Claus letters is perhaps one of the earliest and best loved Christmas traditions. The reason is simple really. This tradition works on a holiday icon; a hero that kids adore. Writing a letter to Santa Claus is one of the preeminent Christmas traditions. These letters normally contain wish lists of toys and statements of good behavior. Writing letters to Santa is something that you possibly did as a child and can now teach your own children this happy festive tradition as well.

Another benefit of emailing Santa is that Santa can send an auto response back to the child. This is enchanting for the child, and also helps to promote the belief in Father Christmas. Traditions that children follow in their homes as they grow up tend to set the way for how the practices they will follow throughout their life. We can choose to focus on having time together to write letters to Santa, to create Christmas crafts, or to simply find time to bond. These special times can help reinforce family ties and create appreciated memories that will last a lifetime.

Encouraged your child to ...
... believe in Santa Claus, finding that spirit is not difficult. As we grow older and accept reality as we, as adults, see it, we become negative. How can Santa Claus travel so far in just one night? How does he get into homes without chimneys? How could someone really know what everyone wants? As soon as the belief in Santa Claus begins to reduce, finding that spirit of giving, the true magic of Christmas becomes more and more difficult.

Why not keep that magic alive as long as possible for an important child in your life by arranging for him or her to receive letters from Santa? The longer the belief in Santa persists, the stronger the spirit of giving remains, regardless of the pressures of toy corporations. As children grow older, they will be able to cherish the letters from Santa that rekindled the magic of Christmas, allowing them to enjoy wanting to know} a bit longer.

Christmas has been a favorite time of the year involving gift giving, parties and feasting. There are a great many traditions associated with the special event of Christmas. Most of them date back for centuries. Stimulating children to believe in Santa Claus is one old game that people still participate in.
