The Saldanas Add The “kitchen From Heaven”

The Saldana's outdated kitchen was in desperate need of a facelift, so they called in the remodel doctors at Liberty Construction to bring a new youthful and elegant look to their space.

At first we though just replacing the counters would be enough, Esther said. But we realized that wouldn't be enough to enhance the value of the kitchen when we sold our house. Our old space was so beat up and dated. After twenty years we really needed a new kitchen.

The Saldanas replaced the plumbing, added new cupboards with all the bells and whistles like a Lazy Susan, tray cabinet, spice rack, pantry with pull out shelves and a recycling bin.

The custom maple cabinets have a shaded cherry stain and an arched design to draw the eye upward to the ceiling.

Our project manager Kobi, advised us the arch would give the entire room a larger, more open feeling, plus adding visual interest. Brushed knobs and drawer pulls accent new stainless appliances.

Recessed lighting brightened the space adding to its modern appearance.

... the layout to correct the poor utilization of space, moving the refrigerator over 18 inches to open up an entire corner for additional dining area.

To enhance their new cabinets, the Saldanas selected a multicolored granite countertop and backsplash and new stainless appliances.

Although the Saldanas wanted a wood floor, a knee injury Esther suffered convinced them to opt for a Pergo wood floor instead.
It looks great and you really wouldn't know it isn't wood, Esther said.

The Saldanas raved about how easily the process moved along and how pleasant the workmen were to have around the house.

We had heard horror stories about other contractors. When we told people our kitchen was done in under four weeks, they were shocked, Esther said.

Kobi told us, ‘if there is a problem call me immediately. Don't bother your husband at work.' So, whenever there was a problem, I called Kobi. And it worked. The problem was fixed right away, Esther laughed. Kobi was great to work with because he helped us avoid mistakes.

According to Esther, Kobi took the time to sit down with them at the computer and ensure that before any changes were made, they knew exactly how it would look.

My husband went to see another Liberty client in San Marino before we committed. After they told him how positive an experience they'd had, and saw the quality work firsthand, we immediately decided to go with Liberty, Esther said.

My husband cooks more now and everything is so much easier. We had company for the holidays and it was a pleasure to move around. The entire house seems more modern and I know the new kitchen will be a big factor when we sell our home.

My son who loves to cook came home from school and when he walked into the kitchen said, This is a kitchen from heaven, Mom.
