Not many years back, there were entrance exams by all and sundry institutions and universities who wished to admit students into the different courses. Candidates were required to fill in the applications for different entrance exams for the same degrees in different institutions. The scenario arrived at a junction where the candidates had to look into appearing in a number of exams, to make sure that they got into the courses.

By such a process, people had to study every time they were to appear in the entrance exam. The trouble to go for preparations, every time, mostly resulted in the wilting of their enthusiasm. Furthermore, it so happened that the top performers achieved higher ranks in all entrance exams, causing in some cases a dilemma and confusion as to which institute to finally pick.

With so much of exams being held, it was usual for the exam dates to get overlapped, which further became the reason of anguish among the students. So, students who are aspiring to be engineers or doctors or pursue the masters’ courses in engineering and science subjects can buckle up and channelize their energies towards the single window entrance exams. these exams to be conducted in 2013, except the GATE 2013, which will be conducted like previous years are gateways for the students to get into the various colleges in the country.

The Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering is an entrance exam conducted by the IITs and IISc every year during the month of January usually, for admissions into the above institutes for the M Tech courses. Qualifying students can also go for the masters’ degree in science subjects, mathematics, computer science and few other research programs.

The NEET 2013 is the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for admission into the MBBS courses and PG courses in various medical colleges under government and private administration in the country. This particular test will commence for the first time in 2013, thereby allowing all the aspirants of medical admission to appear in a single test on a country wide basis. Therefore, those students who are aiming at a medical career, after their 10+2 studies, can appear in the NEET 2013 UG and qualify in it to get admissions in the medical college of their choice.

The NEET 2013 PG exam will be an opportunity for the medical graduates to secure a seat in the post graduation subjects after passing out from the medical colleges. Similarly for the engineering aspirants, the ISEET 2013 is going to the golden opportunity. Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test is a national level exam which would be replacing the engineering entrance tests of the likes of AIEEE and IIT JEE in the coming years.

This ISEET 2013 would be conducted by the CBSE board for interested students to take admissions into the government and private engineering colleges. By such a method, aspirants who are aiming to become engineers will get the chance to take admissions into the engineering colleges of their choice in the country. These tests at the national level are a kind of levelling field for the talented students who want to go for medical and engineering courses after their 12th standard education.
