If you’ve ever stepped into a good optometrist or sunglasses store, you’ll know that the advice you’re given when choosing frames is based on math, not emotion. While we make a beeline for the hottest Ray Ban shades, your assistant is considering how the shape, diameter, length and even colour of the frames fit your face.

Typically, face shape has been a major determining factor for glasses suitability. But what if your face shape is not one that is particularly unique? There are many other facial features to consider when choosing the right frames for you.
