It’s the dissertation proposal that gives constant nightmares to the students. Whether you accept or not, the proposal is more important than the actual thesis project because your thesis will only be accepted once your draft is accepted.

Dissertation proposals are also cold-bloodedly rejected by the professors and the worse thing is that, they don’t even bother to highlight the mistakes committed by the students. But being a supervisor for over a decade, I have all the secret parameters that defines the success and failure of an assignment.

I have compiled a list of those secret tips that will help you come up with a dissertation proposal example that will not only have accepted but appreciated as well.

Tip number 1:

Remember, an introduction is not your abstract where you will give the central idea in your own words but here you will introduce the subject and a summary of the research questions ...
... behind the subject. While reading the introduction, keep in mind that you are writing the thesis for your readers and not for you. The person should instantly find out what the whole research is all about.

Tip number 2:

Problem statement must have the topic plus the problem and the question. These three things will be the basis to come up with a perfect problem statement. Make it short and concise and simple as possible so that a reader can easily understand what the upcoming research is all about.

Tip number 3:

The literature review is the most important part of a dissertation. It will determine the whole scope of the research and make a connection of you research with the famous old researches. Furthermore, there are other important other aspects like data collection methods with a critical analysis of the old researches and the gap between the old and current study that you are going to take are some important elements of a literature review.

Tip number 4:

The length of the proposal should be at least more than 20 pages but not more than 80 but in the end, it depends on the nature of the topic. You can have it as much long as you want but make sure you are not overdoing the literature review.

Tip number 5:

Bibliography is the biggest part of dissertation proposal writing and sometimes, only because of this problem, ones proposal is instantly rejected by the professor. Therefore, make sure you over focusing more on bibliography than anything else.

Hence, a dissertation proposal example is also there for you to download with ease from internet but make sure you are not simply downloading but hiring a writer’s service.
