Black mold can spread all over your home and all new home owners should get educated on how to keep it from spreading in the home. the problem with black mold is that no one thinks that they have a problem with mold growth until they become ill. Since the mold has been growing for a long period of time it has become toxic which gives off deadly fumes that causes illness. There is no way any one can predict how much time anyone has been they have been inhaling the toxic fumes. I can't tell you how fast mold can take over a home so i can give you some examples of how it spreads.

I just went through an issue with mold that could of been avoided not more than a week ago. We live in florida so we have the air conditioning running constantly. Usually the air conditioner will cycle off and the condensation will be drained through a small pipe outdoors. This never gave me any sort of problem until last week. I couldn't believe that all the moisture was literally dripping on top of the water heater. It sounded like everything was draining properly until i had a closer look. ... i woke up the next day and noticed that my hallway was soaked with water. I took a peak at the a/c unit and couldn't believe how much water was literally leaking everywhere. And then i saw the blackish green mold that had already started to incubate on the wood and walls. This problem had to be going on for a while. What makes this more scary is i have no clue of how long that mold was growing in there until this incident happened.

The first thing i needed to do was find out why and where the water was leaking from. My next option was to figure out what natural mold removers that i could use that would not only remove the mold but would be safe to use around my family as well. The first thing that came to my mind was that the drain pipe was clogged. I figured i would start with that first because that was the easiest to do first. And as luck would have it that seemed to be the cause of all this mess. The drainage pipe was clogged with black mold and algae. I then took my safe mold cleaning products and applied it to the inner portions of the drain pipe. It not only cleared the pipe of the mold but it cleaned the algae as well.

The next thing i had to do was get rid of all the mold spores that were in the carpet areas. I took a drive to the hardware store and got me a water extraction machine and vacuumed up all the excess water from the hallway. Since the carpet was not dry in the hallway I squirted all the areas in the air conditioning closet and carpeting with the natural mold remover. I gave the product about 10 minutes to kill any mold that was embedded deep into the base of the carpet. I took a small rag and went over all the walls with it to make sure there were not any mold on them. after that i just got out my vaccuum cleaner to brush up the mold from the carpetand the brushes did the scrubbing while i dragged the vaccuum over the carpet.

Since then, I have completly removed all traces of the toxic mold spores. I'm so lucky that i was able to dodge a bullet and prevent the mold from overtaking my home. i checked out some articles about how families had to leave their homes because the black mold became so toxic that there was no way any human being could live in the homes without having serious health issues and even dea. Thankfully, i caught the problem before it became worse. You better believe that since this happened i am going to keep tabs on the a/c unit to make sure this problem wont occur again in the future.
