Magills' New Kitchen Adds To Creative Update Plan For Home
Bonnie Magill and her husband Thomas decided it was time to give their home a facelift, so they called in Platinum Remodeling to create their beautiful new spaces.
We had worked with them before when they redid flooring and tiling for us, and liked their work, so we called them in to continue the creative process.
The Magills' new kitchen design contains features from Thomas's wish list including an oversized cooktop and updated cabinets.
The cabinets were a dark wood and didn't match so we decided it was time to update, Bonnie said.
The new oversized stovetop allows a luxurious space for Thomas to prepare his special dishes and new stainless state of the art appliances are an added bonus of their new space.
Helpful Project Manager Alon worked closely with the Magills to furnish Thomas and Bonnie with their ultimate design wish and the new kitchen reflects the team effort.
Beautiful rich red oak traditional cabinets feature pull out drawers and a Lazy Susan.
Rich black Caesar Stone with specks of color creates countertops ...
... and a backsplash with a deep rich ebony polish.
The Magills liked the floor Platinum previously installed so they kept it in the new kitchen.
We really liked the tile and the design so much we decided there was no reason to change the flooring and it really looks fine in the new updated space.
My husband and daughter enjoy the new kitchen and are baking more now, Bonnie added.
The Magills also decided the outside of their home was due for a makeover so Platinum set to work creating a new rich brick façade where fascia board previously existed.
We had ugly wood stripes before, and now there's a pretty painted stucco and used brick. Before there was that ugly board going half way up the garage and living room window. Now it looks really nice, and they did a very good job of changing the look of the house. We also added new gates and fencing to fix our view and enhance the privacy.
A new patio furnishes Thomas with a clean updated space for his barbecue.
Other updates more structural than cosmetic were also on the agenda and a new electrical panel and plumbing were installed.
Bonnie complimented the workmen on how quickly they moved and how accommodating they were.
We wanted to finish before Thanksgiving and they kept within our parameters.
They do good work and we would use them again, Bonnie said. It turned out very well and everyone who comes into the house admires our new space. It's really nice to have everything matching and it turned out even better than I thought it would. We love to show it off.
