Clayton Walters Is A Dedicated Student With Great Interest In Sports
Clayton Walters is a hardworking student who has been honored with various awards and accolades in his academic career. He received Richard C. Adkerson School of Accountancy Academic Achievement Award 2009-2010. He has also participated in several extracurricular activities while studying. He is a skilled athlete and was on bulldog honor roll for three semesters. He ran across the country and track in his high school and college. He also played soccer in high school. Clayton was on the President’s List for four semesters and Dean’s List for three semesters. He took an active interest in various sport events such as Men’s Cross Country and Men’s Track and Field events. He has served as SAY Youth Basketball Coach 2009-2010 and SYSO Youth Soccer Coach: 2008-2009. He also volunteered with Starkville High School Cross Country, Track and Field 2006-2008 and with Starkville Recycling 2006-2007.
Clayton Walters has received his Bachelor of Accountancy, Magna Cum Laude with Major GPA 3.74/4.00 from Mississippi State University. ...
... In May 2011, he received his Bachelor of Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude from Mississippi State University. His major GPA was 3.77/4.00. Presently, he is pursuing his Masters in Tax Accounting at the University of Alabama. A dedicated student, Clayton Walters was one of the 40 students who were chosen to travel to South Korea and Japan under the MSU Global Leadership Program. He visited corporations, universities and cultural sites and learned about the unique culture and education systems.
He was an active member of several social organizations in his school years. He was part of the Young Americans for Liberty, Maroon VIP and FCA (Fellow of Chartered Accountants). He was also involved with the Pre-Law Society and was honored with a position on the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Clayton Walters has also completed a six week summer internship at M.M. Winkler & Associates, Tupelo, Mississippi. During this summer internship, he worked in the field, dealt with clients and worked with and under associates. This internship gave him an in-depth understanding of the business world and he also got the opportunity of interacting with clients.
