Platelet Rich Plasma is a new and innovative treatment which heals the injuries naturally by using body’s own process of healing. When some part of the body is injured, the damaged cells and the collagen protein that has been exposed leads to an inflammation. In such situations the platelets present in blood reaches the injured part of the body and start the healing process by releasing growth factors. On the other hand white blood cells also release growth factors and help the platelets in healing the injury.
