Mexico is a really exciting place to visit and many many Americans never even think of putting it on their travel plans. This is a source of amazement to many as it is a county with a vast array of places to visit, things to do and sites to see. And it is not particularly expensive.

Mexico shares a border of nearly 2,000 miles with the United States. It is the Southern border of Texas, with a natural border of the Rio Grande from El Paso right the way to the sea between Brownsville and Matamoros. Then of course their are the borders with Arizona and California. Mexicans are the largest immigrant group to the US.

The country of Mexico itself though is a vast land with a huge variety of terrain, vistas, and both a gulf and a Pacific coastline and always worth a visit. But, because of the vast distances involved it is advisable to fly and hire transport while you are there. Then there are miles and, miles of stunning white beaches with the warm sea. So if the inclination is to sit and relax on the beach and do absolutely nothing except recharge your batteries that too is perfectly acceptable.
