Tips On Taking Care Of Your Mountain Bike. Clean The Bike Freewheel Or Cassette Correctly

Lubricate you drive train as well as chain, crank, cassettes, and derailleur with the necessary oil. Oil should be applied during the movement of the pedals in both directions. If the movement is smooth it means that all the components are appropriately lubed.

At last, reattach all accessories that were removed in the very beginning of your inspection.

These tips are going to assist you in taking care of your mountain bike correctly and to increase its service to you. Check your bike before each serious ride. Pay attention to the smallest mechanical malfunction of your bike in order to avoid possible problems which can cause serious injuries. 4. In order to remove dirt trapped between the cogs, a narrow brush or a screwdriver should be used for scraping it out. You can also find specially designed tools for this purpose at the stores.
