On its journey a vehicle encounters different types of road surfaces. Moving on roads with potholes may be quite uncomfortable due to jerks and shocks that one experiences. Coil springs or shock absorbers are installed on the vehicles to lessen the discomfort. Coilover is a suspension device in which both, the coil spring and shock absorber are packaged in one unit. In a coilover the coil spring encircles the shock absorber. The device provides both the spring action and the damping action. The spring has to be sufficiently long to cover the shock absorber along its length. However, for technical reasons instead of one long spring mostly two or sometimes more than two shorter springs are used. These are stacked one over the top of the other. Some of the springs are soft and others are firmer to give a better response to the shocks.

Coilovers make you move ahead in reasonable comfort on a rough road, but to move ahead safely the driver should be able to clearly see ahead under all conditions. At night or when visibility is poor due to fog ...
... or any other reason headlights have to be used. Headlight is an assemblage of components like a source of light, reflectors, and lens all packaged in a housing. A bright headlight is of great advantage, specially now when we have faster moving cars. Fortunately now we have brighter sources of light like halogen lamps, or LED lights, or HID (High Intensity Discharge) lights which are used in headlights. The driver is able to cast the beam of headlights on the right areas of the road by manipulating the reflectors and the lens in the headlight assembly. It has also to be ensured that the headlights do not blind the driver of the vehicle coming from the opposite side. For that purpose the headlights are properly located to cast a low beam or dimmers are used.

Many types of high quality coilovers are available in the market. Headlights are also available in many attractive designs to also serve as an adornment of your car. You can look for them in automobile stores or on internet. You can know more about coilovers at www.ilovebodykits.com.
