Advantages Of The Vent Free Gas Stoves
Traditional fireplaces only used wood to heat up a room and this was considered Ok then as new inventions hadn’t been made. However just like fashion which keeps on changing with time, fireplaces have also embraced a change to include gas and electricity to still heat up a home. It is realistic therefore that wood isn’t the only energy that one needs to rely on so as to get warm, vent free gas stoves can really deliver! Instead of keeping the old wood fireplace, vent free gas stoves will really do as it has all the characteristics of the traditional fireplace, but instead of using quite a bunch of wood, a Ventless gas stove is efficient and convenient as one need not keep on hauling wood, it also doesn’t tar up ones house.
Whether one is building a fire in the living room or the backyard fireplace, it is probable that one need to keep the flames burning with a minimum hassle and what a better way than to have a remote or a push up button, and you get to heat you place. A ventless gas stove is what you need then, it has all this characteristics ...
... and no mastery in how to put it up is needed!
With a stand alone, corner or permanent vent free gas stove design, styles are quite many but they depend on the décor that one wants to go with. The main idea is to get what you want and get to heat your place warm!
However just like any other fireplace, the ventless gas stove has its own cons having that its combustion is not that efficient as it releases by-products into the room they are meant to heat. Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide are among the many by-products that these stoves emit. These products can degrade the indoor air quality and cause unnecessary exposure to toxic energy.
These stoves are also manufactured and operate just like traditional fireplaces and the idea behind doing away with the disadvantages that the traditional fire gave is not embraced by use of vent free gas stoves. Apart from being that they use gas, smoke, water vapor and moisture are unsafe by-products that these stoves produce. The vent free gas stoves products do exhaust a lot of moisture into the home and the same may cause the production of mold or mildew. In excess, these may cause allergic reactions and wood destruction and dry rot in one’s home.
Having an open burning system, ventless gas stoves do use indoor air for combustion and then vent the combustion by-products back into ones home. This has lead to increase in indoor air pollution and causing harmful conditions for the home occupants. But since burning fire from these stoves do draw a lot of heat around it, to combat warm air loss just open the nearest window little and lower the thermostat to around 50 degrees and you are good to go!
