A woman should be able to perform her activities equally like her opposite sex without any problems. But due to the natural make of a woman, she has to go through a monthly menstrual cycle once she hits puberty. During the menstrual phase, her ability to perform can be affected. The menstrual cycle occurs every month and continues till her menopause, except every time she gets pregnant or suffers from a menstrual disorder. A menstrual cycle can often coincide with an important or special event and can ruin the spirit of participation. At such times, period delay pills can be really effective.

How effective is the period delay pill?

The period delay pill is quite effective in its purpose of delaying the period. The pill has side effects like most other medications have. The pill can be very effective to delay a period if taken three times a day. The pill is safe as long as a person sticks very strictly to the doctor’s dosage instructions. Also, it is advisable that the pill should not be taken to delay the period for ...
... more than two weeks. The pill should not be mistaken as a form of contraception as its purpose is to delay periods.

Norethisterone pills

Norethisterone is a progestogen-based medicine used to treat periods and the related problems. It is used as an ingredient in certain combined oral contraceptive pills, progestogen-only pills and also as a stand-alone drug. The most common use of this pill is for delaying the regular periods in times of emergency and necessity.

Working

During menstruation, the hormonal level in the body dips continuously. After a certain level, the body sheds the lining of the womb triggering the start of bleeding. Using these pills, the hormonal level can be maintained for a longer period of time without allowing it to drop further. This stops the womb lining from shedding and helps to delay the period.

The pill can be used to easily delay period for up to two weeks. In cases where the regular pill is being taken, taking pills back to back can postpone the withdrawal bleed for three weeks. It’s not advisable to postpone the period for more than two weeks. It is best to take the first dose of Norethisterone before three days of your period.

Precautions and side effects

It is suitable for most women, but certain precautions should be taken by people who are obese and whose family members had a history of blood clot, raised blood pressure, diabetes, depression, asthma, heart, liver or kidney problems, varicose veins, smoking, or multiple sclerosis.

Side effects depend on the length of time the period is extended. A heavy, painful bleeding will occur after the course is completed if the period delay has been long enough.

Ordering Norethisterone

The pills are available online at registered clinics. The initial consultation will determine if your body is suitable to take the pills; if approved by a licensed medic, the pills will be delivered within 1-2 business days under strict confidentiality.
