A scholar athlete, Sam participated in various sports activities such as football. Sam Schottenfeld was one of eight to make steel talon and was elected by his peers as a team captain. As part of the Young Life association, he mentors and tutors middle schoolers. He has participated in Habitat For Humanity as a senior in High School. He also helps people make connections every day. As a Young Life councilor, he works with middle schoolers after school several days a week. As a born leader, Samuel has great problem solving abilities and he is always there for his friends when they are in need. He has performed voluntarily in several noble causes with the help of his athletic skills.

A brilliant individual, Sam attended Milton HS in Milton, GA and completed his graduation in 2010. He is a business student at University of Mississippi in Oxford. His father, Roy Schottenfeld is an ear, nose and throat surgeon and his mother Laurie is a homemaker.
