There are many sports that people enjoy but one that you may want to consider is automobile racing. This is something that has been gaining in popularity over the past several years and it really doesn't show any signs of slowing down. Of course, we have come quite a way from those humble beginnings and now, you can see racing in any corner of the world and it takes place year-round. While many people will look to sports such as football or hockey that have a very limited time span during the year, racing is something that can be followed at any time you like. While it is true that some types of racing are going to be limited to a season, the only thing that you need to do at that point is to switch to a different type of motor sport. Some of the categories that are included are stock car racing, formula racing, sports car racing, kart racing, drag racing, historical racing, production car racing and touring car racing. The rules and regulations that govern each of these different types of racing are going to be different, although the sport itself is something that is enjoyable across the board.
