Air Brush Tanning Hydrating Beds…and The Other Different Types Of Tanning

A few years ago, tanning was associated with the rich and famous who could afford to vacation in the sun kissed beaches of the Caribbean as opposed to their pale white counterparts. But now thanks to professional tanning salons it’s now possible to get the most beautiful and glowing skin. The industry has now grown leaps and bounds, with plenty of products lined up for the client. You can either choose to lighten skin tones with airbrush tanning or choose from UV-free tanning products. Here are a few tanning procedures available for the average client.
Tanning Beds:
Tanning Beds are clam shaped beds that emit UV rays; albeit at a controlled rate. These beds are fitted with fluorescent lamps with a blend of phosphor. The phosphor helps to emit UV. These beds usually differ in the UVA/UVB ratio. Thus you can choose from the low pressure to the medium and high pressure beds. The low pressure beds take time to tan and fade away quickly. Tanning beds of these types use more of UVB rays that do not tan but rather burn the skin. The slightly costlier ones are the popularly called tropical beds and feature high intensity ...

If you’re looking for a safe tanning bed, a hydration station is probably the best choice. These produce deep and long lasting tans, even as they moisturize the skin with active ingredients like Vitamins A, E, and C, Aloe Vera, green tea and other nutrients.
There are also tanning beds that incorporate the red light skin therapy. These red light therapy beds are used to get a younger looking skin.
UV-free Tanning:
Sunless or UV-free tanning has become very popular among those who aren’t too inclined to expose themselves to UV rays. Commonly sold in the form of creams, pills, gels, lotions and sprays, these have an active ingredient called dihydroxyacetone or DHA. This ingredient activates the dead cells on the surface of the skin and darkens it temporarily. Tanning pills are known to cause allergic reactions in some. However, air brush tanning is known to be very effective. This is ideal for people starved of time and looking for a quick fix. This is also ideal for those with sensitive skin. And since there’s no exposure to UV rays, the skin tone can be lightened easily. Tanning salons at the higher end of the cost spectrum often use high quality natural products like botanical extracts and anti-aging extracts to protect the skin.
Rather than bathe in the sun, it indeed makes sense to choose from one of the several indoor tanning methods.
