The syllabus holds a great significance for the people who are into XAT preparation. It is with an eye on the syllabus that one can be thorough with the different topics so that everything in the syllabus is covered. Presence of syllabus during the CAT preparation is a guide to the intensive studies that people will be required to turn to. Also, syllabus helps in understanding the strength and weaknesses of students, so that he or she can correct it.

Practise-

For every students appearing in the management entrance exams, the preparations is polished by taking mock tests or practise tests. These tests help in the MAT preparation by making the students go through some practice of the topics. Simultaneously, these act as a good means of correcting one’s mistakes, when there is time. Another advantage of the practice papers is to find out the optimum speed at which the questions are being adapted.
By going through these sample papers or mock tests, people can undertake a proper time management towards the questions. Another factor that is required in the CAT preparation is time management. Although attempting the questions in a time limit is required, but still, the preparation phase requires time commitments. And for people who are planning on appearing in the exam along with being in a job, the importance of time is further accentuated.
