What You Eat Is What Your Are.... Fat Or Lean?
Your calories is going to depend on your weight and your activity level. Now the question that you need to get an answer for is this:
Of the calories that you will be consuming how much of them will be fat, carbs (sugar) or protein?
Heres the thing,
your body will naturally burn 25% of all protein just through the digestion period.
however your body will only burn about 10% of all carbs that your consume and it gets even worse... of all fat you will only be able to burn 5% at the digestion stage of the game.
What does that all mean?
Well its simple, do the math.
If you ate 100 calories of each nutrient; fat, carbs, and protein then you would burn the following:
Fat- 5 calories
Carbs- 10 calories
Protein- 25 calories.
So you see that your body will work hard to process protein than it would to process other foods, therefore we want to focus on eating more protein and less of the other foods.
Does that make sense?
