Chia Seeds: Good Or Bad
We all know that diet and exercise are super important to reaching your weight loss and fitness goals. What about dietary supplements? The search goes on for the most valuable means of keeping women fit and healthy in more ways than one. Medical studies, academic researches, sales promotions, and personal claims are all flooding the internet daily and the publications yearly. I mean, look at all the ads on Google, Facebook, and your favorite TV channels and radio broadcasts. All you see are weight loss pills and weight loss enhancement supplements that include the Acai berry or green tea extract.
My stance is that supplements may or may not help foster goals on health, weight loss, and fitness for women. It really depends. It's my job, though, to keep you informed and updated!
Let's focus particularly on the chia seed; a super food rich of heart healthy Omega 3. There's been a lot of hoopla around this seed because of it high soluble fiber content that helps people state hydrated and feeling full , chia seeds can help you stay hydrated and feel full, repressing hunger pains. Most women have discovered and examined ...
... the chia seed as an alternative medicine, a health remedy, and a good dietary supplement. Lots of chicas have claimed that it has been beneficial in their weight loss and fitness programs. Chefs are finding super creative ways of incorporating the chia seed in their recipes. However, some researchers in 2009 have included the chia seed in their studies of supplements and results have shown little evidence to such claims. Based on obese and overweight women who have been included in the study, nothing much has changed since the use of the dietary supplement of chia seed. Those who have been categorized to take placebo instead of the chia seed have been found out to have shown any difference from those who have been categorized to regularly take the chia seed for 12 weeks.
Despite using the chia seed for about 25 grams twice daily, these supplements and results have not convinced such researchers and those who have reviewed their assessment and conclusive findings. Still, some women still take an alternative medication of chia seed supplements and results have not been a major issue at all since the medication has not triggered any side effects.
Chia seed has been included in most diets for overweight and obese women and it has been safe for continual use despite the consistent urge of many medical experts to review and formulate further examinations and tests of validity and effectiveness.
So where do I stand with all of this research? I say, if you take a multivitamin and ensure you eat well rounded meals with the sufficient vitamins and minerals to keep you healthy, then there really is no need for supplements. But if you feel you are deficient, contact your physician to see what can work for your body.
My advice: fill half of your plate with more vegetables and fruits. As you exercise and go physically active with your weight loss and fitness program, choose organic lean meat, poultry, and seafood. Use less salt and minimize salty ingredients in preparing your food. Buy low-sodium products. Eating clean is the best way to ensure weight loss.
Look for organic dietary supplements as alternatives to seasonal fiber-rich foods, vegetable oils, and other fruits and vegetables. With your weight loss and fitness sessions on check, it will be more balanced to have a healthy and organic diet as well.
