Is cycling meant to just whisk through the lanes in the neighborhood? No, cycling as an activity is much more than that. Many consider cycling as a passionate sport, which develops thrill within them and creates a drive that would take them far beyond anyone could reach. Initially, cycling was just considered as a recreational activity, which kids enjoy to the fullest. And elders use it to ride to work. But now, cycling is marked as a bigger arena, where cyclists have varied options to choose from and either make career out of it or just take part in competitions for the passion towards sport.

One of the biking activity that is considered as a real sport is mountain biking, which requires passion to perform better. Cyclists need to be passionate enough towards the cycling sport to enjoy mountaineering, as this particular sport brings an adrenaline rush while performing to reach heights, which is not an easy task as compared to other cycling sports, as going up the hill, is not a joke and handling the move downwards, is a daring act. One needs to have the audacity to pedal up and down the hill terrain with the focus in ...
... the mind to make it to the end point, and the passion in the heart to let no distraction divert their focus. Cyclists who consider this sport need to own a cycle that is specially designed with certain features, specially the suspension to absorb the shocks from riding over uneven terrain. The bike needs to be perfect for the sport, as no basic cycle can be considered for mountaineering, as basic cycles cannot move on the rough patch with ease and neither is it designed for it.

If the cyclists fancy venturing into more extreme trail riding, then certain features need to be considered perfectly for a smooth ride i.e. full-suspension can make the experience more comfortable and more exciting, especially with regard to mountain biking. The cycle accessories used in the development of mountain bikes are way different than the one used on roads. Therefore, tires used for such bikes, needs to have the grip to sustain the pressure exerted on it, which is very important in this sport, since it is not a plain road, instead is a rough terrain. Grip on the trail along with perfectly functioning brakes is all that matters while riding at a high speed on a hilly terrain. The brakes need to function incomparably perfect in these mountaineering bikes, since one does not know what lies ahead until you reach it, and so that it is not too late, perfectly timed braking is required to maintain the momentum as well the speed. While making the buy structure of the bike is another such factor which needs to be taken into consideration.
