Obesity is a condition in which a person suffers from a chronic state of being overweight. Today lots of people suffer from the problem of obesity. It is categorized as a life threatening condition as it give rise to different types of health risks like diabetes, heart problems, strokes, certain kinds of cancer etc.

It is the general belief of the people that the best way to lose weight was to cut your diet for few days then again follow your daily routine. Some people follow the theory that in order to reduce weight, we must start to live on fruits and vegetables and also avoid taking fats. Nowadays majority of people are of the opinion that it is better to follow healthy lifestyle habits which includes a balanced diet as well as an exercise routine.

Numbers of ways are there which are very effective in controlling your obesity. The most important thing in controlling the obesity is to burn the excess fat which is stored in our body. Some of the important steps to control obesity are:

1. Don't stop to eat: It is not possible to become trim and slim just by quitting your food. It is very unhealthy to cut ...
... a huge amount of calories intake as it will just lose your muscle mass and you will actually damage your heart. Usually health experts recommend cutting only 100-200 calories per week as it is a healthy approach for your weight loss.

2. Increase the intake of water: Water is said to be the best appetite suppressant in comparison to any other thing. It's natural and not harmful for our body. It is a fact that our body has 70% of water by mass and 90% of water in blood. Drinking plenty of water fills our stomach and keeps you away from overeating. It also helps in removing toxins from our body.

3. Try to eat less carbohydrate: You must avoid taking of carbohydrates which are found in white sugar, white rice, white bread, processed cereals etc. These carbohydrates provide you instant energy but if it is not consumed quickly then our body puts it away as 'fat'. If you want to cut your calories, then try to have a balanced diet which offers small amount of carbohydrates. So it is necessary to focus your diet on proteins and healthy fats in order to get energy. Proteins and healthy fats are found in olive oil, avocado oil etc.
