Cleaning rain gutters is a difficult, annoying chore. Fortunately, there are plenty of gutter cleaning tools to make it easier on you, if you're willing to be a little lighter in the wallet. Here are the ten tools ranked most popular on Amazon, along with the approximate price of each.

1) The Gutter Getter

Cost: $15.99 plus shipping

This is a telescoping pole with various attachments to clean your gutter. We're pretty sure we could strap a brush to a painter's pole for slightly less than $15.99, but at least they're not demanding five easy installments of $15.99.

2) Weed Eater Gutter Cleaning Attachments

Cost: $36.99

This gizmo hooks up to your Weed Eater and lets you clean your gutters from the ground. Which is great and all, but it kind of begs the question: how do you see what you're doing? Also, how do you get out of the way of the crud you dislodge? You may also want to invest in an umbrella.

3) The Gutter Flusher

Cost: $12.50

Pressure washing makes a lot of sense to clean your gutters. On the other hand, you should ...
... probably be careful where and when you turn this baby on, so you don't get a high-pressure facewash.

4) GutterBrush Guys Gutter Brushes (Pack of 10)

Cost: $97.90

It’s not a bad deal: spend a hundred bucks, get a pack of strong wire brushes designed to scrub your gutters, and you never have to buy another gutter-scrubbing brush again in your entire lifetime. They're right, though. It does look like a bottle brush.

5) The Gutter Sense Cleaning Tool

Cost: $19.99

Essentially, this is like one of those crane games you find at the pizza parlor, except you use it to clean your gutters. Again, it’s hard to see what you’re doing from the ground. It does, however, seem like an ideal toupee remover. Oh, before we forget, it's $20 for the gizmo: it'll be another $30 for the pole.

6) Shop-Vac Gutter Cleaning Tool

Cost: $28.60

Even though this product sucks (literally), it’s actually a really good idea. It gets rid of needing to see anything, and having a pile of dead leaves land on you. May not work on the gloppiest of gutter messes, however.

7) Airaleave Leaf Blower Attachment

Cost: $10

Here’s a gizmo you put on your leaf-blower's nozzle, jam it into the downspout, and let 'er rip. We're pretty sure we saw Tim Allen do this on “Home Improvement” once, and the results weren’t pretty.

8) The iRobot Looj

Cost: $129.99

OK, so it costs more than a decent power tool. But it's a robot, which is always neat, and it cleans your gutters by remote control from the ground. You may have problems with sharp turns, or with wet messes, which it can’t always cut through. But hey: it’s a robot.

9) The Whirlywash Cleaning System

Cost: $25.79

OK, you probably feel silly just saying the name out loud, but give the WhirlyWash its due: it combines brushes, water, and soap to get your gutters squeaky clean. You just won't be able to say the name without giggling when recommending it to friends.

10) Gardena Combisystem Gutter-Cleaning Head

It's a brush, a pressure washer AND a gutter scraper! Wow. Now, just one problem: how do you use it?
