The only downfall to the Corel software is that it comes with a much steeper learning curve than Adobe programs, but it also has enough support features to help you learn your way around and make up for the additional difficulty.

If you're serious about learning the graphic arts, the software mentioned above will be your best bet and most definitely worth every dime you pay for it.
