Past Lives: Nero A Case History Part 2

Many years ago I worked with a young man who was deeply troubled. He really didn’t understand why he had the feeling that he had done something terrible. He felt like this, for no apparent reason, ever since he could remember. He told me that he knew he was holding on to a deep sense of shame and guilt but he didn’t understand why.

When I regressed him he found himself in Roman times with opulent surroundings. He said that he seemed to be in charge and everyone bowed to his every wish. He kept repeating that he was being blamed for setting the fire. At the time I didn’t really understand where he was going with this so I instructed him to go a little further forward in time and tell me what was happening now.

He seemed agitated and told me that he had to redirect the blame away from himself by accusing other people. I asked him if he thought this was the correct thing to do and he promptly told me that he was the leader, the emperor and he could do what he liked. As we went on I asked him what he had decided to do to deflect the blame. He told me that he had some Christian believers arrested and then had them tortured until they confessed their crimes. I asked him if he felt guilty about doing this, he told me no and the plan was working as other people were getting blamed rather than him.

We then went a little further forward and he started to breathe heavily. He told me that he was now fleeing Rome as the senate had declared him a public enemy. I said that he was safe and everything was alright because he had moved forward again. I asked him where he was. He said he had killed himself. I asked him if he was now able to leave that body and go into the light. He said no he couldn’t and was stuck where he was because he needed to be punished.

I told him that he didn’t have to stay stuck if he was ready to ask all of those people whom he had tortured and killed to forgive him. He said he didn’t feel that he deserved to be pardoned for all the terrible things he had done and he didn’t believe that the Gods would ever absolve him. I explained that forgiveness is always a three way thing. That lifetime was over but in order for his soul to grow and to move on he needed to ask their total forgiveness, he needed to forgive them for what they had done to him, most of all he needed to forgive himself unconditionally. Once he was able to do this and the soul fragment was reintegrated and that part of my client was no longer earth bound. My client awoke free from all of the negative feelings he had experienced all of this life.
