Nissan Motor Company ‘s set of procedures implemented on car buyers who would want o purchase the Nissan Leaf is starting to become so frustrating. This is because the deliveries of the Leafs to customers who were able reserve for the first 20,000 units have been rescheduled for a few times now. Due to this, more and more car finders who are interested in purchasing the all-electric Leaf are having second thoughts as to whether they would pursue their plans or not.

In addition to this, the company has also dropped some of the reservations from customers that were placed on the waiting list, bringing more frustration to new car finders who waited for their reservations’ approvals. However, Nissan has also announced that buyers could also reapply as long as they were able to prove that they have arranged for the installation of charging units for their homes that would cost them about $2,000.

Given these guidelines, car buyers that are interested in buying the Leaf has actually invested significant ...
... amounts of time, money, and efforts just to have their purchases pushed-through giving them all the reasons to get frustrated. However, Nissan explains that most of these reservations would surely be delivered as soon as the supply and production of the first mass-produced electric vehicle becomes stable.

Despite the obvious frustration brought about by the delays on the delivery, Nissan is trying its best to boost its production and shipping of the Leafs to their dealerships and to those who have made their reservations. The company currently makes sure that their customers would earn the needed compensation for their wait and any inconveniences that they experienced.

In addition to this, Nissan continues to explain the main causes of these delays to those who made their reservations and to other buyers as well. This includes the strongest earthquake in Japan which slowed down the Leaf’s production and the companies continuous testing of this vehicle model to make sure that all of these would be able to provide the needed performance on the road. Given these, most car financing experts suggest that Nissan should also provide better auto financing arrangements for Leaf buyers who have been patiently waiting for their vehicles’ delivery as a form of compensation.
