Chevy’s New Offers For Its 2012 Chevy Volt
Chevrolet has started its active policies to promote the sales of its 2012 Chevy Volt. This is because the competition between the Volt and its closest competitor which is the Nissan Leaf continues to intensify. The most recent statistics revealed that the Leaf is still prioritized by most electric car finders as well as some of the auto financing deals offered by Nissan for this model. Due to this, Chevy currently offers better options to every car finder that is interested in buying the 2012 Chevy Volt.
One of these offers is the reduction of the price of the 2012 Chevy Volt. It is currently offered on a base price of $39, 995 which is almost $1,005 lower than the previous version. The reduction of the price of the latest version of the Volt is the company’s decision to offer the vehicle’s navigation system as optional which was standard equipment for the 2011 Chevy Volt. This base price also includes the $850 destination charge. However, car buyers could still reduce the amount ...
... that they would be paying upon the purchase of the Volt. This is because the government is offering a $7,500 tax cut to qualified buyers.
Chevy also increased the areas where the Volt would be offered for sale. Instead of selling this vehicle model to selected areas, Chevy would start distributing and getting orders from buyers for its 2012 Chevy Volt in almost 50 states all over the US. Given this strategy, the company has increased the chances of getting more orders from buyers and thereby increasing its sales.
In addition to this, Chevy has also increased the number of the Volt’s package. The 2012 Chevy Volt is currently offered in seven package compared to just three for the 2011 version. With this, car buyers who would be interested in buying the latest version of the Volt have greater package options. They could easily select a Volt that fits their driving needs as well as their budget.
Given these offers, there is a great possibility that the 2012 Chevrolet Volt might take the lead in sales from the Leaf given that Nissan is currently experiencing several difficulties in the production, supply, and distribution of its Leaf.
