Prince Ping Pong Kong Linghui Drunk And Beat The Security Guard

Kong Linghui, an outstanding Chinese table tennis player who is called "Prince Ping-pong", the 76th generation descendant of Confucius, was born in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, on October 18, 1975. He stayed on the first places in the ITTF men's singles world rankings, and won the Grand Slam of the World Table Tennis Championships, the World Cup, and the Olympic Games.
Kong Linghui is typical traditional pen-hold grip fast-break combined with European hand-shake grip, powerful sides loop, stable and hard, and has an excellent tactical ability. Skillful at combination of loop and fast-break, and the forehand smash is powerful. He has a good sense of ball and fast velocity, good at playing long rallies and sneak attack in gridlocks for his thorough technical skills.
In the 43rd World Table Tennis Championships in 1995, the 20-year-old Kong won the men's singles champion and reached the pinnacle of his athletic career for the first time. In the following 5 years, Kong and Liu Guoliang, another famed Chinese table tennis player and the current head coach of Chinese table tennis men's team, led the Team of China. ...
... Both of them not only won their own games in team matches, but also dovetailed well in doubles and were a perfect pair in the world. At the Sydney Olympic in 2000, Kong defeated the old rival Ove Waldner in the final and won the men's singles champion. Meantime he also won the men's doubles silver medal with Liu Guoliang and reached his pinnacle again.
On October 12, 2006 Kong Linghui officially announced his retirement and served as assistant coach of Chinese women's table tennis team.
It is reported that in the morning of May 27, 2011, Kong drunk and had body conflict with a security guard in front of the Standard Chartered Bank in Global Financial Building in Beijing. The guard then claimed that he was wounded and called the police. Police later confirmed that the two sides have reached a settlement through mediation, but did not disclose the specific amount of compensation.
