LED lights have totally recast the concept of lighting and illumination. LED stands for Light Emitting Diodes. Such lights give very bright light while consuming very little power. They have many applications. They are also used in headlights and tail lights of vehicles. Both of these are important safety features of any vehicle. Driver of a vehicle is alerted of the presence of a vehicle ahead of him on the road on seeing its tail lights. They are mounted on the rear of a vehicle.

Actually tail lights are a system of lights of different colors having different functions. Main pair of tail lights is red in color. Red color is preferred because red lights can be seen from a longer distance if there is mist or fog. LED tail lights are superior because they are very bright and can be seen from still longer distances. This is helpful to the driver of the vehicle as he gets more time to make adjustments necessitated by the traffic. Turn lights are yellow in color and they indicate whether the vehicle will be turning left or right. There are other lights which shine when the vehicle is going to stop or the driver decides to ...
... proceed in the reverse gear. All such indications contribute to safety on the road in a big way. Apart from their brightness LED lights have other advantages as well. They can withstand shocks and vibrations. They are long lasting and robust.

Because of their high visibility the tail lights have acquired another role as well, and they are now treated as an important decorative feature and cover large area on the rear. LED tail lights adapt themselves very well for this function. Their designers make them in a number of very innovative and attractive designs. Customers can select a design of their choice which can make their car stand out amongst so many other cars. These lights make the car look superior and impart to it a touch of luxury. If for some reason you have become weary of your car and want to give it a new look you can just change the tail lights. You can know more about LED tail lights at www.ilovebodykits.com.
