Online Texas Driving Safety Course

We understand that driving is a privilege. We exercise our privilege to drive everyday and we don't take this privilege for granted. There are times, however, that the rules of the road slip our minds and we are in need of little refreshers. Generally, the receipt of a driving citation seems like the perfect time to take in a refresher course. We don't mind these refresher courses so much but we do have a problem when these courses impose on our daily lives. We simply don't have the time to allot 6 hours straight to sit in a classroom to be reminded of what we likely learned in driver's education. We would much rather be fed the course in doses that are convenient for our active schedules. Thank goodness there is Defensive Driving Solutions.
Defensive Driving Solutions is the state of Texas answer to online driving safety training. Defensive Driving, the online course offered by Defensive Driving Solutions, is a 6 hour driving safety course that can be taken online in the comforts of your home at your leisure. You have 180 days from the day you sign up to complete the online course. This means that you can log into the ...
... system as many times as you would like until your 6 hours are complete. This course is $25, which is the state minimum for defensive driving training, and not only saves you time but also saves you money.
Successful completion of this driving safety course could mean up to 10% off of your yearly premium for your motor vehicle insurance for up to 3 years. It appears that your insurance company sees your initiative to take the driving safety course as an indicator that you are doing what it takes to keep the roads safe. As incentive, the discount is offered.
This driving safety course includes graphs, games, videos and audio read-along. These tools are used to help you to retain the course information. Periodically throughout the course you will be given pop quizzes based of the information provided in the course videos so be sure to pay careful attention. Once you've completed the course you will be given a final exam. The final exam consist of 20 multiple choice questions. In order to receive your certificate of completion for this course you must pass the exam with a score of 70% or higher. You have 3 opportunities total to get a passing score on the exam. If you pay attention throughout the course you'll certainly do just fine.
You're probably now eager to get started. Before starting, check with the court that issued your citation to be sure that you are eligible to use this course as a means to have the citation permanently removed from your driving record. If you have taken a course similar to this one in the past 12 months you may be ineligible to take this course. Again, check with the courts as there have been instances where exceptions have been granted.
