It is a very obvious fact that people indulge in the act of wearing clothing apparels without getting even to the brink of consuming some knowledge about the technical aspect related to these clothing apparels. No one will deny with the fact that if any clothing stuff which is universally in demand for almost all different categories of people then it has to be the t shirts. However, despite of the craze which the t shirts have created for them, there is hardly anyone who has even basic knowledge of technical aspect associated with the t shirts.
The prints on the t shirts have very large range of variations and people are more than willing to grab the different print custom t-shirts. However, they have little or no knowledge on the printing methods which are used for bringing out these prints. Different printing methods are used by the t shirt printing firms for different types of prints desired on the t shirt material. One of the most widely used printing methods by the t shirt printing people all over the world is the screen printing method.
The screen printing method of printing has been in use for more than 2 ...
... thousand years. The main reason behind the wide acceptance which this t shirt has got is the simplicity with which the entire process can be culminated. In this method, a wide screen bears the designs to be printed on the t shirts with paint being sprayed on this design. The next step is to simply stamp the designs on the t shirts and the printing process completes. The ease with which the entire process can be accomplished is simply remarkable as compared to the other printing methods.
The biggest disadvantage which the screen printing method carries is that the t shirts can have designs only in single colour. In order to overcome the shortcomings of the screen printing method, many people use the heat printing method. The heat printing method involves bringing up of the designs, intended on the t shirts, on some special paper or vinyl. The next step is to transfer these designs on the t shirt clothing material by employing direct application of heat. This method comes very close to the screen printing method in terms of affordability and simplicity. It also has the advantage of employing different colours in the prints.
Both the methods of printing the custom sweat shirts discussed so far have designs to be developed on separate mediums and then the designs need to be transferred on the t shirt material. The direct- to-garment method of printing involves direct usage of the printing ink on the material of the t shirt. The major disadvantage of this method is that it requires a lot of time as well as lot of efforts from the person assorting to go with this method. The methods discussed so far are the popular ones, while there are many other methods of printing t shirts used all over the world.
