The iPad is now one the most useful tools speech therapists have available for therapy. It is not only handy but also significantly more affordable than conventional paper materials. Besides it is very engaging and makes our practice a lot more fun and practical. But with so many apps on the app store, it is hard to discover new ones.On my blog geekslp.com I review new apps and give ideas about how SLPs can use this amazing tools for therapy. Since I am a developer myself, and enjoy all sorts of technology, I have decided to compile a list of apps that speech therapists could use for
therapy. My goal is not to judge the apps by any mean, my goal is just to give suggestions on how the apps could be used.

Speech Therapists are amongst the most creative professionals I meet, and if we were able to make a therapy session with flashcards and worksheets fun and useful for teaching skills, I am sure you will find in every app something that will help you help a child.
