With rising fuel costs and mainly damp un-seasoned wood available in the UK, the average cost for heating the home is soaring, however a new start up business might just have the answer….

The Eko Company based in Passfield, Hampshire is a new business venture set up by two local lads on a mission to reduce harmful emissions to the environment, cut needless tree felling and save money on household heating.

Inspired by their travels to the Far East, business partners Guy & Matt first came across this exciting new fuel in a small village where they experienced locals using it first hand in its rawest format. 2 years later and a lot of hard work the ‘Eko Log’ was born and they are now hoping to make it a household name for fuel needing homeowners and industrial businesses.

These Eco Logs measure 10 x 3.5 inches and is made from 100% bio-waste which means it produces very few harmful emissions and burns with a strong clean flame with no spitting or smoke. Because of the length of time they burn and the heat they generate compared to wood or other log briquette alternatives, The Eko Log is proving to ...
... be a big hit to all users of open fires and wood, coal & oil burning. What’s more the ash it produces can be used as a fertiliser, which makes the Eko Log a truly environmentally friendly fuel.

Things to consider when comparing Firewood to Eco Logs....

- Eko Logs are easy to store - as you can see in the image, they take up far less room than wood and because they are neatly packaged there is no mess, so can conveniently be kept inside.

- The most seasoned of wood has a 20% moisture content and we're guessing most of you keep wood outside so by the time it is used, it will contain even more. Eko logs contain between 6-8% moisture which means they burn much hotter than wood.

- Eko Logs burn with a very clean smokeless flame, which means that little or no soot is gathered in the chimney or flue, so you will also save money on not having it cleaned as often.

- Fast delivery!! If you live locally we guarantee delivery within one week - however most deliveries are within 2 days of ordering!!
