In order to prevent car accidents, drivers should always devote full attention towards driving. Drivers should also refrain from driving after drinking liquors for this is illegal and at the same time very dangerous.

2. Reckless driving

Another cause of accident involving both expensive and cheap new car is reckless driving. Reckless driving is common among teen and new drivers. They tend to drive their cars carelessly placing other motorists at risk. Reckless drivers usually think that driving at higher speed gives them a sense of pride. However, what they don't know is that doing this could possibly place them in eminent danger. In addition to this, they could get their licenses suspended, revoked or get a speeding ticket.
Besides these, reckless driving might also result to:

T-Bone accidents characterized by the collision of two vehicles in a 90-degree angle. This usually happens on intersections or crossroads most especially when a reckless driver tries to beat a red light.

Rear-end collisions due caused by frequent tailgating

Distractions to other motorists due to frequent lane switching.

To reduce vehicular accidents, it is important to drive at moderate speed and obey speeding regulations. These rules are imposed to maintain a safer driving environment for all.

3. Poor vehicle condition

The poor running condition of the car can also be a cause of accidents. Most of these accidents caused by either brakes malfunction, locked steering wheels, and clutch failures. These types of failure on the car's functions could prevent the driver from reacting to sudden changes on the road condition and the driving patterns of other motorists.
In order to avoid accidents, it is important to maintain the car in good running condition. It is important to check the car brakes, tires, and fluids regularly before hitting the road.
